Why pick a Frenchie?
French Bulldogs, or Frenchies have been the most popular breed in America for two years in a row now, and it's for good reason. They are extremely friendly and affectionate, with a non-aggressive personality. They require little amount of exercise, very low maintenance grooming, low shedding, are easy to train, and their small size and easiness to travel make them a wonderful choice among families and as a companion dog. Fluffy Frenchies are the same as a normal Frenchie, they just have a rare, recessive gene that makes their hair longer and much softer.

F.A.Q:
Are French Bulldogs good family dogs?
Yes! Frenchies are great with people and other animals. They are very patient with children, and love to cuddle and play, and be everywhere you are. They are a non-aggressive breed that generally love other dogs, cats, and animals especially if they are introduced to them at a young age.
Are they difficult to train?
French Bulldogs are very people oriented and very eager to please. I have found they are pretty easy to train. They can be a little stubborn, but they are very intelligent, and love to play so if you turn it into a fun game they will catch on quickly.
Why are Fluffy Frenchies so expensive?
Simply said, its a matter of supply and demand. Many people, like you, love frenchies and are looking for a good representation of the breed and there just aren't many well breed dogs out there especially in those rare colors like lilacs, blues, or merles. Now, you add in the fluffy gene and it becomes even more difficult to find. To get a fluffy frenchie both parents must either be visually fluffy, or carry the fluffy gene. On top of this, French Bulldogs are not an easy dog to breed. They almost always need to be artificially inseminated because their narrow hips make mounting and breeding naturally very difficult. This can be very costly and time consuming. Also, they tend to have very small litters with the average being 3-4, though it is not uncommon to have only one or two. Also, because of the large head and shoulders of the puppies they are almost always delivered by c-section. This is a very costly procedure especially if it has to get done at the ER vet which is very common. Once puppies are here, now we have around the clock job of making sure they get fed every 3 hours, and monitoring moms healing and recovery after her surgery. When all of these things are taken into consideration along with the normal expense of food, vet bills, medicines, vaccines, DNA testing all of the puppies, and the round the clock care that goes into raising these gorgeous puppies it gets to be very expensive just to have a litter.
