Babies In The Nestbox
This is where you will find photos and information on litters once they are born. Our vienna babies generally become available for claiming between 4-6 weeks of age and are ready to go once they are 8 weeks old. Rabbits from our show lines I like to hang on to a bit longer to better evaluate their type. I generally start to make cuts when they are around 10-12 weeks old unless there are any obvious DQs, or I just don't feel like they would fit into my breeding program then they may become available before that. I will try my best to indicate who will be available and who will be staying as soon as I know, however I actively show my herd, and I always get first pick of all litters or may hold some back longer to grow out if I have the space.
